DanaScully
Hello, Please see my initial thread for more background on this with footage in the second post on the thread. The clicking started last year and I managed to find a solution in keeping the air on 'low' (cool) or turning it off totally. I noticed the clicking only happened when the air was set to 'high' (warm). Back when I posted my original thread everything in the car was working as normal. Fast forward to now and I'm not able to get any warm air from the fans at all. This is obviously an issue given we are getting into autumn now and I don't want to get into to winter without having it fixed. I've looked on other forums (U.S. based) and every thread with a similar initial issue to mine has been a faulty blend door actuator (AKA HVAC blend actuator or mode door actuator). I called my local Ford dealership to ask for a price and the bloke on the phone didn't have a clue what I was talking about. I explained the issue and he said it's more than likely the regulator and to take it into them. My main question is whether any other Fiesta owners have experienced this problem and whether there was a solution? If so, can you remember the approximate cost? I have a 60 plate Titanium 1.4 diesel. Thanks in advance for any replies.
