disgusting smell!!

unfortunatly i've started to get a smell of cabbage in a morning. Its only just after getting into the car and goes after a few mins. any ideas what this could be? bit like wet cabbage i think.

And i dont thing its been dragged in by an !Removed! badger and stored in the glove box.... although i'll go and check.

Any progress for you yet? Seems like the Focus has a big problem with smells, so many people posting about their stinky Focus... Shame if the problem isnt an !Removed! badger, coz thats a well easy problem to fix, from what I've heard...

Thats an interesting possibility SY99. Maybe the OP should think about wiping the dog chod off of the dead badgers, before putting them into the glovebox. Should hold the smell back by a few days untill the badgers 'death-rattle'. However eventually the badger is bound to become putrid anyway so I have some further suggestions

1. Install a refrigeration device into the glovebox itself, this should increase the 'shelf-life' of the dead badger

2. Pickle the badgers to preserve them for years at a time

3. Practice 'stock-rotation' of the dead badgers. ie: replace the old dead badger with a new dead badger before the old dead badger becomes rancid

4. Keep some 'wet-wipes' in the car to cleanse the dead badger before its installation into the glovebox itself

I have more suggestions so feel free to ask for more help if the above options don't work for you

LMAO that had me in fits!!!! But yeah how come people's fords are stinking mine only smells of leather and magic tree "black air" and the best mate's perfume (!Removed! sprayed it and it soaked into the leather) dont people clean there cars!!!!

Lmao nooo! well, i would but no. I drive her into college in the mornings and she was rushing to get ready + if the gf suspected me of sleeping with her im preaty sure shed have me turned into a lady rather quickly! she may be small and blonde but shes powerful lol.

aaah the old ill lop youre jolly rodgers off and feed them to the dog yep my mrs is just the same i changed the magic tree and she kep asking whos perfume it was she got the point when i shoved the tree in her nose they had afocus on the garage a programme on sky came in with a broken gearstick and 2 high heel impressions on the roof lining wonder how that broke then

LMAO it sickens me when people have s*x in cars. I love my car but im also quite fond of my girl being the vicious younger cruella de'vil she is and to mix the two for me is a no no lol but what happens when you sell the car "wipe clean leather mate ;) ", id just burst out laffing if my dad got in and drove my car the next morning though.

I used to work at ford and the worst we've had at the time i worked there was a st diesel mondeo (stickey gear knob (wizards sleve me thinkies), nail marks in the drivers seat and all over the back, tiny stiletto sized percings in the roof lining and a STRONG scent of lady parts). We refused to service the car and it was taken else where. Shame really i quite like st mondeo's and it was a performance blue one :( .

well ive never seen that i have to admit i did put new seats in an escort for a friend removed the rear seats and found a thong a used tampon and a used condom so it was on with the rubber gloves his mrs came to pick the car up and i just gave her a bag and said id found these down the back of the seat her face dropped only later did i find out that she had been cheating on him strangely she wanted the leather seats fitted so kind of makes me wonder why now you mentioned wipe clean lol

lmao its funny when people realise theyve been caught i remember the guy coming back to collect the mondeo the girl on the ford help desk is very very preaty and she had to explain to him why we refused to service the car, she said she has never seen a person go as red as he did . I had my leathers fitted because i do alot of miles these days the standard edge ones just annoyed me and i LOVE the smell the seats give of (dead cow mm). What happend to your mate gives me another excuese to not let the mrs drive my poor focus!.
