As per title really, wanting to stick some spacers on my stock ST wheels, thinking 20mm front and 25mm rear, has anyone done this to a mk3 and know they fit? also do the stock alloys havea recess on the mating hub to allow a little pock from the studs in the hub?

cheers, pictures would help as well :)

Hi Daniel

May i ask why ?

Do you have the stock 18" or the option 19" alloys

These fill the arches very well as it is.

Just be carefull that the tyres do not rub the insides of the arches.

Is your ST lowered or standard

Hi Daniel

Ok fair enough, Would the tyres or rims rum on the suspension strut or cables etc.

If no then go ahead and try it, but im sure someone more experianced will be along shortly :-)

Wider track at the back may help at least

I have 20mm spacers front and back on my MK3. No rubbing at all, looks great too. Going for 25mm in the rear soon though. Needs a little more poke.

I got these:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400995199803

Everything needed is included in the kit. Just get two kits, 1x front and 1x rear. Just can use the 'make offer' function on eBay, i got two sets for £105 :)

I recommended 20F and 25R. Needs a little more poke in the rear. Just wish my front suspension height was about an inch lower :(

Im pretty sure your alloys would be fine. I was recommended those spacers by the guys over at STOC. There's at least 5/6 STs like yours with the same kit and no problems reported.
