Glove box light

I hope someone can help.

Noticed that the interior light fitting has come lose inside the glove box. I cant work out how to get it back where it belongs and im worried its constantly turned on as there isnt anything pressing down the on/off stalk.

Does anyone know anything that could help?

I have attached some pictures. Im not sure if perhaps the shorter piece of plastic should go through the bigger hole and have some kind of fastener on it.

Thanks in advance

The push switch goes through the left hand hole and the small clip with 2 lugs go through the right hand hole.

This way round-

TBH it looks like a lug may be damaged on the switch clip as ringed on the image but it should grip ok with the other clips.
