Any ideas how much a cam belt change is? I got a 98 1.8 focus with 122000+ miles, no service history. Definately thinking of getting it changed, lol!

non ford around 170 quid but make sure the tensioner is changed too youll be needing the coolant drained and changed if its not been done should be purple now not pink or red

no it will stay the same colour, the newer coolant that ford use is apparently purple.

the colour means nothing, as long as its the right type (OAT?) and in good condition then it doesnt matter.
