Journey Distance to Go (SatNav / Information Display)

Hi,

I have just purchased a Ford Focus having driven a Vauxhall Astra for the past 6 years.

1) It may be really obvious but on the SatNav (or maybe its on the trip information display somewhere) I cant seem to see anything that tells me how many miles it is to go to the final destination of a set journey. It tells me the time I am due to arrive and also tells me the mileage to the next junction but I cant seem to find "miles to go"?

2) Is there an easy zoom in / out on the SatNav map display?

Many thanks,

Mark P.

If its the SYNC 1, then just push the up and down buttons while navigating, and it goes from simple 3D nav, 3d Nav, Distance and time info, 2D nav and simple 2D nav

As for zoom its one of the bottom long buttons on the left on my Sony unit to get it in zoom mode. then down to select manual and left right to zoom in out

Hope that helps

If you have sync2 or sync3 you just tap on the icon showing the estimated arrival time to toggle to remaining distance.

On my Sync 3 tapping the touch screen number shown in the top right on the nav screen toggles between distance remaining, time remaining or estimated arrival time.

On Sync 3 you can pinch to zoom, a bit like using a mobile phone, or adjust the zoom level to show a lesser/greater map area using the on screen control. I think there also a setting that auto increases zoom at junctions to show more detail.
