I was thinking the exact same thing mate! Every-time I park up near my house I have to do a lap of the fez to put the mirrors in :(

Wish I had a pound for every post for people wanting options they should have got when they ordered the car.

Personally, I would suggest it is possible, but like we have seen with the USB, it will be expensive, take ages and probably no positive outcome.

Well I reckon the mirrors are likely to cost at least £100 each

You would have to take both doors apart to fit them probably - most likely take apart alot of the front of the car too

Wiring them in will be a pain

I think you will need new mirror switch gear in the drivers door to operate them

Also one other thing is that the mirrors are recognised by the computer in the car as there is an option for them in the vehicle settings in the stereo. So you may need to upgrade the software which as we know from stevens car (BT&USB upgrade)- it doesn't always get the hardware to work.

All parts together are likely to top £400

Fitting would probably take at least a full day

Getting them to work could take forever

If you are really, really lucky - there may already be wiring in place and the car may automatically recognise them. But this is unlikely.

If you are the first person to do this (which you could be) then there will be no info or help available anywhere on the web, so you'll be on your own
