Bulb Problems

My near side main beam was out, and I couldn't work out how to remove the bulb, so went off to Halfords, and bought a 477, and went home and fitted it, then within the week, the other one went, so crossed town, on my way home from work, in a snow storm, and they weren't that busy, so the chap on the parts desk, asked my my reg, and told me I wanted a 472, I consulted the book, and it said 477, but he pointed out, I looked at Fiesta 2009 - on, not Fiesta 2008-2009! Apparently, in December 2008, it changed over, although mine was built beginning of November!

Just a point, the 472 being a bigger bulb!

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I would check with Ford rather than Halfaurds.

according to our listing all the bulbs are the same from 2006 onwards, being full beam H1(448) and dipped beam H7(447).

Mine was built around November 2008, I know H7 fit into my Dipped/Main (night driving, not Full beam), as I just upgraded to the Philips Power Xtreme. Working well.

never trust Halfords they know sxxt on foci forum we had a guy with a knackered engine because of Halfords and selling the wrong oil in short Halfords couldnt find theyre axxhole with a map and binoculars and they are 477
