Dunno why when replacing them smear the threads with copper grease when they are on lightly rub vaseline on the end of them or use a good spray of penetrating fluid all down to the salt we use on theraods my old motorbike had a lot of chrome and the winter would do the same to that meaning persistant cleaning Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Gazjs Posted March 5, 2010 Share Posted March 5, 2010 I don't no if this would be possible with your locks, but I know with mine that I got plastics cover caps with them that hide the actual nut itself, maybe you could use something similar to hide the rusting?
