Heater Fan Issue. HELP!!

Hi all, first post here as I've just bought my first Ford. I've got a miriad of problems going on but I thought I'd start with this. 

 

Whenever the heater is on and turned up, I get this awful vibrating in the cabin. It's also making the interior lights dim in and out. Have I got a blocked fan/filter or is something more expensive?

I should probably add, in case it's related. The driver facing vents don't work and the selector to choose the vents doesn't do anything. Only getting air from the windscreen and foot well.
