RG58
I have recently purchased a 2011 Fiesta. It now has a loud intermittent clicking from behind the dash. I have read about faulty hvac blend valves but I believe that is located up near the steering column. This noise is emanating from just to the right of the air con controls and although it happens randomly, it is most pronounced when I initially start the car. I do have a video showing the problem but cannot see how to upload it here. Has anyone any ideas please?
Fiesta1.25
Yes definitely sounds like your issue is the blend motor, very simple to replace, you should be able to see/feel the faulty part just under the dash/centre console on the left it’s only held in with a couple to screws (torx I think) and a wiring connector. RG58
Shane, Thank you for your reply. I had actually seen this YouTube video but Fiesta 1.25 tells me it is located much nearer the air con temp control in the centre console and indeed, that is where the noise is coming from. I am going to look shortly and will post again with the actual location on my 2011 1.6tdci. Also, I have seen a couple of different versions of the valve on eBay so again, I will post the part number specific to my model. Thank you once again.
