Divertom
Hi all, As you can probably tell im new here so not sure if this is in the right place but could do with some advice. So i have a 2017 kuga with the 1.5 ecoboost awd setup its only done 20k miles. As its automatic I reverse off the drive (on a slope) then when I pull way and switch to drive a deep grinding noise can be heard for about 2/3 seconds. Another issue is when I swap from park to reverse after the car has been sat for a day or longer its very slow and aggressive to engauge the gear. Ive checked the oil and thats good and has plenty of life in it. Ive been to my local ford garage and they say its normal yet i occasionally drive land rovers for work and they don't make the noise? Any surgestions on what to do would be greatfully received Thank you in advance!
Tekno
Take it back to fords as the 3 year manufacture warranty may still apply and insist on a fix if nothing else if you report the issue while still in warranty if it dies later you will have some comeback on it email the dealers so you have it in writing also cc on the email ford direct customer service so they can have a record of it.
