I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

Well done Chris!!  I also got 5 minors, so nothing wrong with that.

You can update your signature now!

Thanks all!

Good point Jamie, I'll do it now!

Looks good.  The best advice I can give (as a fairly new driver myself) is to try and loosen up as much as you can, whilst obviously remaining safe and cautious.  I see a lot of new drivers (mainly those with P-plates ) who still drive like they are on their first driving lesson!!  Of course don't start driving like a taxi driver (sandwich in one hand, coffee in the other and steering with your knees!), but don't hold yourself back either.

It's a great feeling knowing you can get in the car at any time and go wherever you want.  Well, unless you drink a lot like me and have to choose between alcohol and driving!  Most of the time, alcohol wins...

If you ever fancy a 10 hour drive North, you can give the MK1 a valet!!

Nice one Chris!

I bet you have to ask people to remove the T from Robertson quite often...  I have an equally annoying surname to spell.

Having an obscure surname isn't the worst thing in the world...  Try sharing your name with a rather popular tennis player.  Having a Scottish accent and working in a call centre, you wouldn't believe the amount of times I get "are you Andy's brother then?"...

Yeah, I'm sure he works in a call centre between training sessions!

Good chat up angle though-

"Oh Andy? Aye he's ma wee brother.

Wanna see my back swing?"

Never thought of that Clive...

I do like completing four times as much this evening (paperwork), as I'd originally planned:smile:

I have a surname that most struggle to pronounce, let alone spell:laugh:

I do like having a mostly undisturbed sleep, and waking up feeling not too groggy.  First time in over 7 days that's happened!!

I do like that my parcel has arrived from Monster shine, full of goodies. Including my snow lance. Stand by for un seasonal snow storms In South Yorkshire.

Lol, yeah I usually get 'parcel for Tom...err...umm...'  Yeah that'll be me... It's not even complicated to say, just has a lot of letters which seems to confuse people!

Then I have to go through the 'oh, where's that from then?' 'Oh right, when did you move'...  About 200 years ago some guy I've never met lived there...

Cheers guys, yeah Jamie I'll take that on board, almost always I drive at the limit so have no issues with keeping up with other traffic! If I'm passing, I'll certainly pop by and give it a wash!

Yeah I have several people get my name wrong, normally they pronounce it Robberson, Robinson, Robertson.... the DVLA got both my provisional and my V5 wrong. Hopefully my full license will be right, third time lucky!

Nothing as good as getting juuuuuust the right amount of sleep :)

I do like picking 4¼  kilos of tomatoes, before even more rain comes and causes all the ripened ones to burst, as it invariably does, when you leave them on. The two Lizzano bushes in baskets alone, yielded over a kilo per bush:smile:

I've already got 3 kilos yet to eat in the fridge:ohmy:  I can see the all the weekend meals will heavily feature tomatoes:laugh:

Very few letters seems to equally confuse people, I have only three letters and an apostrophe:laugh:

With my surname I get are you related to him. Robert ------ Or do you own a certain brand of coffee. It gets very boring very quickly

Kenco, Nescafé, Red Mountain?

My name usually get pronounced Price, spelling wise I just say the country Greece with a P yet they spell it Grease, Prees is another one(although that's only locally, as there is a ghost town called Prees within 10 mins driving).

I like the tractor I now drive.  Despite it being the wrong shade of green with the wrong colour wheels(needs red wheels), it is also a CVT and whilst not as amazing as a Fendt, I really can't find fault with it + it is even easier to drive than a Fendt.  Actually there is 2 faults with it, the Air seat is naff & I hate how the rear pick up hitch works, it's an unnecessarily complicated system.

Saw this and thought it was rather good!

Maxwell house

Once I was adequately waterproofed, Brandy and I do like a morning stroll in the wind driven rain.  As rain goes, it's warm summer like rain; rather than the cold miserable rain of winter.

I had a fleeting glimpse of the local Mustang, as it went by rapidly, whilst i was bent over, engaged with a poo bag.

We also saw a brand new white Fiesta ST on 66 plate, briefly stopped outside the smaller of the two Corfe Mullen's Co-op stores

Having returned, Brandy has hardly any dry fur about her person, and is now perfuming the house with eau de vie de dogue as she dries off by the radiator.

I didn't fall in any rivers this morning, but then again, wet weather isn't suitable for fruit picking..
