@Lenny I'm getting root canal work done on Tuesday! Hopefully put an end to the pain I've been having recently. Doesn't sound as bad as yours though 😉

Meanwhile I'm terrified about attempting a checkup next week...  4th attempt this year after not going for 8 years (I had a severe panic attack outside one but they cancelled the other 2...must've seen me coming!)

There won't be any positive outcome to this though...most likely outcome is that I wont be able to get in at all, and will remain just as worried about my teeth as I am now....  In the unlikely event that I can get in, and into the chair, and have someone in close proximity poking my face...they will almost certainly find something that needs doing and I'll have the extra anxiety of that hanging over xmas into next year…

I don't know whether I'm just a massive ***** or whether I genuinely have a much lower pain threshold than most people do...I actually failed a GCSE exam back in 2008 as I had intermittent tooth pain and was so worried it'd have to be dealt with...nearly 12 years later I still have that tooth so whatever it is can't actually be a major issue!  Last year it was pretty painful again but it's taken so long to get a dentist it's not an issue now...though it does feel sharp so maybe broken.  I've also only ever had one filling...in a baby tooth which apparently doesn't hurt...but I couldn't stand it, felt it go right through my skull! No chance I'd be able to have another done now...and I can't stand needles either.  I wouldn't mind being gas sedated...but sadly I'd have to wake up afterwards lol...and I'd be worried about it being more painful afterwards!  Honestly don't know how anyone gets through life without permanently terrified of their body!?

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

Yep, I think your a massive ****** 😀

Sorry, couldn't resist 😉

Seriously, sounds like you have a problem that needs professional help or counseling etc

I understand the difficulty in actually getting a dentist but you need to find one that understands your situation and is willing to take the time and effort with you.

As regards to the pain, I can honestly say that once the anesthetic kicks in the only sensation you should feel is a slight buzz, the injection does sting a wee bit but it's only a couple of seconds, and it's definitely better than toothache.

Hope you manage to get some treatment soon 😉

@alexp999 should get some 3d gel plates. There's a company called titan plates on Instagram which I believe do 3d plates for the same price as the standard Halford plates

Lol I hopefully have to get braces next month. Both happy and nervous. Happy it's going ahead, nervous as I don't know how I'll look and my insecurity probably will go up plus hoping no teeth have to come out and they are able to put the bottom brace on.

Sometimes you mate get pain from your lip and it radiates to your tooth making you think you have something wrong with your tooth. I remember having a spot on my lip and somehow it feeling like it's on my tooth.

My aunt's back tooth is coming out she has an appointment so I don't think yours is bad.

Never liked the idea of sending a scan of my V5 and driving licence to anyone online though. I prefer to get plates done in person and the Halfords ones have such minimal logos/writing.

Cost me £27 with the FOC discount card.

  I'm amazed we can't even say ***** on here...  Mrs Slocombe wouldn't be pleased!

Oh...I do also have a mental assessment next week too...apparently my problems were too severe for the last mental team I saw 3 weeks ago...so rather than pass that assessment to someone else a few footsteps away, I now have to go back to exactly the same place the week before xmas (traffic, crowds & virusses!) for another assessment!  There's nothing they can do for someone in my position though, it's actually in their interest NOT to help me, as I'm not likely to top myself due to my fears around pain & injury...but have no other reason for not doing it so they are obviously in a difficult position with trying to take those fears away!  What really confuses them is that I'm also not depressed (I'm just a miserable ***** generally  )...

On a totally serious note though, I don't see how any sort of talking therapy (counselling, CBT, etc) can change the physical things that I can't cope with and haven't been able to for nearly 30 years (but notably the last 15)...not only pain but I can't stand the feeling of food etc inside me, I can't stand being touched, I can't stand my own bodily fluids and functions etc...  There's no way talking about that can change it, which is obviously why I've been discharged from the 'lighter' team...but I dread to think what the other team will do...I'll probably be in a padded cell and a straight jacket 'for my own safety' by xmas…  Interestingly I did have an assessment with this 'deeper' team about 4 years ago, afterwards I was put on an 18 month waiting list for CBT (which didn't help anything) and was told that my problems were too severe for them as well, there wasn't any help available until I was actually going to top myself...  🤦‍♂️

I was hoping for root canal but they told me it's gone too far to do anything atall other than remove it in pieces 🤷‍♂️

I do like, after much disturbance from dogs etc., that I got my LED dipped and high beam bulbs fitted. Took a brief drive afterwards to see how the did and they are very white compared to the Osram Night Breaker Laser dipped and Unlimited high beams. Light throw is as good as before but will have a better idea how they are when I do my drive home from work during the week.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I got an asbo 😳. Made it look close to my fiesta

Lots of blue smoke out the back

Put blue tire smoke in 😂. There's an option to put a big stereo system in the boot which I had gone and done.

Was trying to match the rear bumper to my car however the closest one the number plate is moved to the bottom of the bumper not on the boot like this one. Also put my private plate on.

Sadly not a programmer to program my character to clean the car himself and use the 2 bucket method 🤣. Need to add some power mods to it. Got I believe 2.18 mil from selling a car so easily enough but like to have extra on the side for further car purchases

I've got plenty of GTA$. Currently sitting at $97m and was at $107m before the casino heist update (all legit too).

I have around 48 mil. Have a few dupe deluxos and vigilantes. Did have several elegy retro however in the last updated they were put back to the regular elegy.

The grinding I just start to get bored at as it's just repetitive.

Do you recommend getting the mk2 oppressor? Look like a faster alternative than the deluxo for crate missions.

Do like doing the headlights on my uncle's car. Came out like new 😊

The car now has past MOT thanks to this.

Excellent job done mate; I hope he pays you well,

I'm not usually a fan of wine so I thought I'd post to say well as you can see 😂 I like this one

I get two bottles free from work every year along with a tin of biscuits and a tub of sweets and an extra weeks wages as part of my contract

Finished work at 23:00 had some pasta Balinese for dinner at 23:20 so decided to try this

I'm in work tomorrow then finished until 02nd January 👍

I do like that new oven smell after finally getting a new one fitted!  Been 11 months of a dodgy one that finally packed in last week.

I think this climate stuff may be going too far though, seeing as there's an 'Eco' setting on it...presumably for people that like their chicken rare and jacket potatoes crunchy...

Think my wife has a patent with Dragons Den on pioneering the eco mode 😂

@Lenny my dad I believed charged him £20 for it 😂. He failed MOT because of the lights which was why I did it. Dad was adjusting the rear drum shoes and handbrake and changed exhaust rubber mounting whilst I did this.

He was really happy yesterday with it. Before he knocked on the door he was looking at the headlights. My dad joked around to him saying we had to buy second hand headlights before I said I did them 🤣

You just lost your dad some potential profits there by pretending to have purchased a new set 😂 que the scolding

My dad was going to charge him £210 for the headlights and parts for the brakes he did and labour if he actually did buy parts but he said £80 to my uncle 🤣. Hopefully I get £20 from that 😂

I'm thinking now of doing that on my grandads volvo and the same volvo my dad recently bought as both headlights are bad.

Also the good news is my uncle passed MOT. Headlights are now letting light through and the handbrake is good.

Can drift it 24hrs a day now not just in daylight 😂

I do like being off work now until 02nd January 2020

Also going in for IV sedation tomorrow morning to have a tooth removed which has been causing me alot of pain across the last six months
