Took my two daughters Shopping on the high street today

Great to see Hollister and GAP have up to 70% Sale on already saved €80 in Hollister on two hoodies supposed to be 170 got both for 90

Saved 45 in GAP on two pair Jean's and a jumper

Unfortunately Superdry didn't but the jackets Last a long time and are cheaper than two GP visits if you include the prescriptions our eldest got a canary yellow jacket looks like kill bill

There happy and I'm proud to have been able to show them a good day out before the long day tomorrow;

I'm actually depressed about tomorrow and trying to distract myself from it as my kids are my only family now I'm trying to be a friend more than a dad 😅

So taking them to Dublin today was a great escape on the road since 8am there not in to brands but there teenagers now and I'm trying to keep them looking the part, few little designer bits to go with the H&M or Primark items.

They had a good day

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

Fair play mate, feels good to be able to assist with recovery or making the best of what is otherwise a bad situation.

Felt a little like a doctor however not as awkward as them 😂. I heard she came in as she complained of shortness of breath at 5 in the morning. This likely why they are giving her oxygen. From my experience most people who are on oxygen usually have it from 1-3 litres an hour so she's in the normal limit. Did her BP, oxygen saturation, respiratory test and pulse and luckily they were all normal. Her blood pressure was just near the perfect spot and her saturation was 100% which is really good however hope it stays 95% or above without the oxygen assistance. The other tests were all normal so she is well however dementia doesn't help.

It sure doesn't mate

Both my dads parents had allsimers; terrible when they don't recognize you,

Even worse when there in a hospital bed going frantic telling you to close that gate as the calves are going to get killed on the road 😟

Santa goes to the Doctor with a mince pie stuck up his bum....

Doctor says "Don't worry, I've got some cream for that"

Haha, no!  The best cracker joke is still the one from the Good Life back in 1974...

"The Ooh-Aah bird is so called because it lays square eggs!"

They don't make 'em like they used to!

Doing some engine bay cleaning for Christmas 🤯

Now time for an afternoon nap.

No need to feel upset iantt 😂. I honestly feel like having a nap also now. After coming back inside from the cold I feel a little warn down now which I hate as I hope it's not the beginning of getting ill

Had my power sleep, that's better. 😀, Think it was alcohol induced.

I went for a walk instead of a nap myself, never can sleep during daylight!

What I don't like though is that the heel of my right shoe wore through to a solid plastic support on Monday and caused a painful sore on the back of my foot...  Luckily I'd bought a new pair in the January sales 12 months ago lol...so got them out today however these ones cut my left ankle instead...so that's gone well!!

Also had a lot of issues with...erm...Yule logs...today so the sooner we get today over the better really!!

I do like looking forward to the Gavin & Stacey Xmas special though, can't believe it's been 10 years since it finished!

Also wondering what was on TV over Xmas before Home Alone came out!

You didn't have any withdrawal symptoms? You would be surprised how many people I met in hospital because of this

Yeah I was surprised myself. There was a decent guy I was talking to who came in because if this. They were giving him fluids I believe to reduce the symptoms.

I've had more fluids 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

I was sipping water and nibbling plain crisps by the evening...completely regretted trying to eat something resembling a Christmas dinner when my body obviously can't cope with food.  Didn't even eat much more than usual, binned a lot of it after my OCD went into overdrive.  Had a sugary Shloer as well (I don't drink alcohol), and a small sugary dessert.  Then felt really ill all afternoon, wobbly, shaky, hazy etc...been told this is caused by low blood sugar from not eating enough...clearly they don't have a ***** clue what they're on about if it still happens after all that!

The shloer gives me a tummy ache it's so gassy 💨🤫

I've been to The Range

Picked up 900 wooden lollipop sticks and a hot glue gun, and a pair of snips

Sitting down now to build a 3D ice-cream shop with our eldest daughter

Using a cardboard shoe box to correctly align the lollipop sticks then securing them together by bridging a stick across them to create a wall

Going to investigate this wheel to why air had leaked out. Couldn't see any nail in the tireScreenshot_20191228-174626.thumb.png.2030e6a03aa6ba19fcb115fc219aa8c0.png

I can see blistering on the inside of the alloy

I've had a fractured alloy before where air leaked through it 😅

Possibly because I launched it over a PostMan Pat stone hump bridge
