Hi all! Hope you and yours are all ok!...

I have a Titanium x 1.5 EcoBoost but I am not sure if the battery is AMG it's stop start so it could be. Nothing on the battery to tell me..I am thinking the Batt is draining to fast. My charger can do AMG but I'm just not sure..

Can anyone help?

Mine is an EFB not AGM. It should tell you on the casing somewhere.

Thanx for the fast reply Tizer...I have a Ctek MSX 5.0 charger so I take it I should use the normal charge on that, not the AGM?..........

Ok just had another look it is EFB...I will charge it on AGM and see how that goes...

I wrote to ctec a while ago asking if I could use the agm setting for an efb battery. Had an emai back from them saying yes I could and have successfully  done so.

My smart charger uses the non-AGM charging cycle for EFB Batteries and so does one other type of charger according to a recent post on another thread.

Might be best to read the instruction booklet just in case your charger is different.
