The support bracket that should have been welded on halfway along the crossover pipe was missing. It's a shame though as it seems to be a quality bit of kit. They've changed the design of the crossover pipe and that bracket is no longer used so it's left off the newer induction kits. Just curious... It certainly feels like it’s picking up more quickly now. I also turned the fake engine sound off via FORScan so I could hear what it sounds like without any digital enhancement. colinmcg71 Posted January 29, 2022 Author Share Posted January 29, 2022 A very productive afternoon. Got the Funk Motorsport heat reflective gold tape applied to my new turbo elbow. A massive thank you to Lee Ryan in the Mk4/4.5 Focus ST owners group for sending me one of his own design elbows out so quickly (thanks also for the pack of Haribo 😉). This one will be less restrictive and let more lovely turbo noises out 😎 All set for Monday now when this elbow, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler and Velossa Tech Design big mouth scoop are being fitted. I’ve always said the ST MK4 would suit gloss black mirror caps, grill and eyelets, and as soon as the ST edition was released that was the confirmation I needed. Got my Grill and mirror caps on order from paintmodz along with the Maxton styling kit. Was thinking to completely wrap the rear spoiler in gloss black to match too. Just need to take the plunge on buying the Miltek exhaust system 🙈🙈. By any chance do you still have the link for the Q7 exhaust tips you purchased at the the beginning mate?
