Also, about leveling, I noticed that on the left side the light it's lower compared with the right side where it's really glowing, and also, I don't have the ,,follow me home" lights that I had on the previous MK4, when I'm locking the car, the lights are instantly turned off.. 

1. Regarding the follow-me home functionality. I think that I read about it somewhere in the manual and I think it's present in the 4.5 as well. I think you do it by pulling the light stalk towards you after turning the car off.
2. As for the levelling issue, it's not always happening. It gets triggered by the sequence I mentioned above. 

   They say that it might occur when you push the starter button without the clutch and in the next 6 seconds you push the starter again but with the clutch

Im not at this stage yet but I think if you search Ford ETIS, you can put your VIN in and track it, not sure what info it gives you though.

Mine is green and I was told that it should be pink. Is the true? 

I think that they switched to green at some point. I noticed it on some cars at the dealer's and asked them about it and they confirmed it. Did they tell you it should be pink?

No, some friends told me they have pink but they have the 2020 model. It seems they go green now 😁

Yeah, they do now. They switched some time in 2022 I believe.

Colour is not relevant anymore regarding coolant types 😉 

My order left the factory over the weekend, est. delivery is 24th Dec, but dealership says honestly it may be early Jan because of Christmas. This is st-line, ordered Dec 2021 to Leeds. 

Just fingers crossed there's no delay in delivery!!

Build date 13th Oct

Then stayed in assembly off line state awaiting parts.

Finished and gate released 16th Nov.

Awaiting transport from Saarlouis.

Eta to dealer still 17th dec

St line vignale. 1.5 diesel auto  no packs for us . We had to have the diesel engine to bring it under 120 bhp as it’s a motobility order for my son who is under 25 . Still a massive upgrade in kit for him as we currently have a 2019 fiesta titanium

My ST-X arrived at the dealer.

In all honesty the Fantastic Red does not look to good if the car is dirty.

But it looks great when clean, especially in the sun (compared my dirty one to one that was already prepared for a customer and shining next to mine).

Can't wait to pick it up, hopefully on Thursday. 😃

My dealer just emailed to say mine has changed to status shipped.

Confirmed its still eta to dealer 17th Dec, which is the first week that hasn't slipped.

Fingers crossed, but now I think I'll be in the Dagenham delay stage.

There's still hope for xmas.

just back from the dealer and my car has been produced, gate released 11th of november

No shipping date though. But I'm glad to know the car has been finished, VIN is available (very basic info showing up on ETIS like engine + colour and that's it) for those who asked. 

My dealer told me about 6 weeks for shipping, so he was speaking about beginning of january (saarlouis is at less than 300km lol), wait and see.

This year they changed the colours, Fantastic Red, Chrome blue it's different compared to 2018-2022 models... Enjoy your new car 🙂

Yah, I saw something I thought it was Fantastic Red and it was way more bright and light then the color I saw on my car today.

Now it dark red basically, almost towards Ruby Red (but not the same glitter).

It still has an underlying orange that comes out in powerful sunlight.

So in conclusion a bit of mixed feelings about this change.

 

Now related to damage on new cars, do you know if they will change a rim that was received damaged? (they don't have a color code for respraying it)

Depends who damaged it and if you can prove it was damaged before you got it.

Have you checked it is actually damage?  I thought mine had arrived with kerb damage but on closer inspection it turned out to be rubber from the tyre fitting!

It is definitelly deep damage on that rim.

I did not get the car, it was just unloaded from the platform and I was there 30 min after to see it.

It will take a couple of days before they will prepare it for delivery to me.

Ah, I see.  In that case, you should get a replacement easily.  Obviously it wasn't your fault if the car is still at the dealership.

Ooo date has moved forwards for us still expect this to slip again. But happy we have a built and shipped car
