Sounded like a diesel which surprised me, must have been ordered a whole ago!

We ordered a diesel one in feb . Ordered through motobility and only engine that came under the required bhp for an under 25 .  Latest update was that the car is at the assembly offline stage . Have noticed that the diesel engine isn’t in the line up to order now

I know you're joking, but I'd strongly advise against this!  I had a Focus delivered on Dec 24th a couple of years ago.  Full of faults and took weeks to sort it out due to all the bank holidays and annual leave etc.

I'd push it to the new year if this really happened. For the following reasons;

1) potential issues like you mentioned.

2) I'd be on the ale a lot as its Xmas, so wouldn't be able to drive it.

I found out this is my neighbour across the street! Long story short, he wasn't waiting on one and really wanted an ST. He did some ringing around and turns out he managed to get in on a cancelled order! Slightly jealous, although he has offered to take me for a spin sometime 😉

Totally agree, the Friday night / holiday builds are usually more 'injury prone' than most cars.

Agree with you, but I ordered my car in Feb 2022 and I got it on Sept 2022, so no delay, exactly as it was initially planned when I ordered it

I ordered mine on the 3rd February, last week it was showing assembly off line and no gate release date. Still hoping to get it before Christmas.

Email from dealer today, my Track Pack ST is set for build in Jan 23, lets see how many times that gets pushed back....

I don't think you will see many delays Carsey, as this is the creme of the Focus range. A sales & marketing opportunity for Ford. 

For other reasons was in a ford dealer today and sat in a tit vignale.

Very nice. Made me excited.

Interiors the same as mine basically,  with white stitching instead of the red. Looked rather classy to those with titaniums

You ordered in May, right? And added the track pack post order? Seem to be getting through the orders for starting the builds, or at least ear marking build dates now!

Fingers crossed for you! I also agree with SausagMan that with this being their top spec Focus now, I would think they'd be pushing to get those out the door!

Yeah first ordered in May with dealer when order books were closed.  Then in September order placed with factory.  

However when I upgraded to Track Pack I was told they couldn't amend the order so it was to be a fresh new order which was placed mid October..

That's interesting then. Maybe you were right before with thinking they had some "prebuilt" track packs waiting to go! I ordered as a fresh order/customer Friday 23rd September with the dealership (ST estate, no performance pack or track pack option for the estate 😔) and yet to hear a peep!

Yeah its not looking like they have them pre built as I hoped but it may be they are making them a priority..

Well it looks like they have increased the list prices again.  Just built my spec and its gone up another £900 (from a couple of days ago).  Making the ST with optional paint and Track Pack over 40k.. Wow..

Just been trying the configurator ahead of a couple of test drives next week, and after selecting the model, just got a circle "thing" going round and round. Same thing happened with every model I tried. Anyone else having a problem?

Incidentally, for anyone who might be looking at a Golf GTI as an alternative to an ST, just seen that it can no longer be ordered with a manual box.

I've just 'built' a Focus no problem.  Maybe try clearing the cache?

Just tried again without doing anything since last attempt (except having lunch and I can't see that having an effect) and it worked fine. Perhaps it was down for a few minutes while they hiked the prices and cut the specs again!

Just a tip for those that dont want the charging to work, just put a litle card, a business card for example, and the phone wont charge. Worked for me when i was wondering why the hell the phone doesn't charge and it's sitting In a black business card my wife droped there... 

Hey just came across this and thought I would share my experience. So I placed an order for a new focus st in September 2021 and was told to expect the car in 6 months. Over a year later and I’m still waiting…. I was told the car was shipped months ago but the eta just moves continuously.
