The Sync 2 unit lost sound and i had difficulty selecting  radio selecting. Phone pairs and I receive incoming calls but no sound and other person doesn't hear me. No sound on cd either. It rectified itself for a few days then back to not working. Looking for options to have it repaired, was told second hand unit may not pair with ECU . Reluctant to go down the full replacement by ford due to costs. Any information or guidance would be greatly appreciated 🙏

    It may be the ACM not Sync.

    Radio stations are stored on the ACM and that's what drives the speakers.
