Can you clarify, "won't work". Does the handle work?Is the handle jammed?  Does it not operate with the central locking? Does it open from the outside, but not the inside? C'mon buddy, help us out her

I admire your tenacity! Long before this stage, I would have taken it to a proper spark to get fixed. Still, look at the learning curve you're enjoying 😀

Are you sure that is the correct harness, it looks like one for a car without electric rear windows.

I thought that at first but the plug that goes in the window motor/ regulator is there.

I double checked the old plug that I broke and that only had about 6 wires too.

The picture of the single plug is for the electric window.

As you can see, there is also about 6 wires there.

Ok, I have took the regulator out and kept pushing down on the cog where the regulator/ motor was and have managed to roll the window down 🙂

If you are lucky the original Ford wiring harness part number label will still be on your original harness. See if you can find it and post a few photos of the label here (photos of both sides of the label).

You probably didn't disconnect the battery before playing around with the wiring so I would suggest you check fuse 81 (20A) is good

It's in the fusebox under the glovebox.  Not the one in the engine bay.

I have had a search for my diagram and when i found it, all the fuses was over 100.

In many cases the 2006 model has a different fusebox to that shown in the users handbook.
