Part wanted

Hi all

Just noticed that my fuse box cover underneath the glove box is missing.

Although not detrimental, I would like to get one.

Can anyone suggest a cost effective source?

Many thanks Steve

There's a little known company on the internet where new and used parts can often be found, just try Googling "eBay" and see if anything pops up 👍

Thank you Unofix for your most obvious suggestion.

Looked there first but nothing going other than someone breaking an Edge.

My consern with contacting them is that you may be saying I'm desperate for your part, would you please have my pants down?

As the part is no detriment I shall just keep looking and shall try the other suggestion given by Phantom76.

Cheers Steve

You're most welcome Steven 👍

Depending which version fuesbox that is fitted to your Edge, it could well be the same one as used by the Mondeo. A genuine cover supplied by a Ford dealer is just under £22 so depends how much you would like to have one.

Example of the Mondeo cover which also fits one of the fuse boxes used on the Edge is this:

Hi Unofix

Thank you again for your help.

I'm sure the one I need is just an oblong cover but as I only found out it was missing whilst standing on my head in a Sainsbury car park I may need to do a bit more legwork.

Your probably correct that parts for other models may fit.

When doing my research prior to buying I'm sure that I read that some bits are shared with some Galaxy models?

Look on the positive side. I know where the fuses are located lol.

Regards

Hi Unofix

Again thank you.

Propper exploded diagrams but can't really visualise with all the other bits of trim in place, but this gives me reference and something to play with.

Maybe I need to look in another car when the opportunity arises?

You never know the part number maybe on the reverse?

Cheers Steve
