Bradley151
Hi Everyone. I have recently bought a 2009 C-Max Zetec 1.6dti and, in spite of the cold weather, the glow plug warning light never seems to come on. I have checked several times when starting but there is no sign of the light in the instrument panel. I presume that it should be showing in the speedometer dial and the only gap in the warning lights appears to be at the 5 o'clock position. Any hints anyone and am I correct in my thoughts about where the light should be positioned in the panel. Many thanks. Derek.
Slarti1972
I have a 2009 titanium 1.6tdi and in the 12 months I have had it (from new).I cannot remember ever seeing the glow plug warning light. I suspect that the newer plugs are good enough to not need a warming time.
