Hi All

I need some advise.

I have a 2004 ford fiesta zetec, I've never had any problems with it, however I haven't driven it for over a week and I came to start it last night and the engine won't turn over, the radio and blowers all come on, but it just won't turn over.

Any suggestions, appreciated.

Are the dash and interior lights dimmer than normal?

no, they seem the normal, they go all flickery when I try to start it up and then they go back to normal.

Sounds like your battery has seen better days, try charging it up and see if it makes any difference. if you dont have a charger, you could always jump start it. Remember when jumpstarting a car, put the sidelights on before connecting the leads to you car and also connect the negative lead to something metal under the bonnet rather than the battery terminal(ie, engine mount). this is to prevent the battery exploding!! Would be worth getting it load tested to. most motor factors who sell batteries will do it in hope of a sale. Halfords also do this for free
