btmaldon
Looks really good for its age. How do you find driving it after having a more modern car? I had several sierra's back in the day and at the time they were ok to drive, but in comparison with todays cars, handling, heavy clutch springs etc make them quite a different beast to live with. Good luck with it and keep us posted on how its going. It would make a good Cosworth Look a Like project for sure.
rojariggs
I had a Sapphire many years ago (1990 1.8 GLX). It was a cracking car (until the engine blew up ) but did so many great holiday journeys in it. I just remember it being a really comfortable old girl! Long dead by now I should imagine. I wouldn't have the bottle to buy an older car now (too scared of breaking down in my old age!). Enjoy your Sapphire and welcome to the forum!
