oobie
Hi, I saw some time ago that you can buy a Blind-tube replacement for the Particulate Filter, and that it would fit bolt-on. I think this might have been on eBay, im not sure. What would be the benefit of this?(Except better flow and all those benefits) Does the DPF-light go on with it? Does someone have a link? Im interested to know, might tune the engine with a chip/map.
james_60
If you remove the dpf you may let the cat out of the bag kind of situation (im not very good at explaining what i mean excuse me lol) Vosa would have a couple of fits if it was to be inspected (1 in a couple of 1000 chance in that happening New mot rules on DPF's might mean that the mot inspector has to visually see the DPF and ascosiated cables etc Ford will pickup that it is no longer functioning and think you need a new one (£200-500) It would have to be deleted with from the ecu as well (Software) type in on Google DPF Deletion Jamie
