Does anyone have a problem with there clutch on the mrk 6 fiesta

I have a 56 plate ghia and every time you press the clutch in the there a squeaky noise, a bit like a spring.

i have had a look to see if there is a spring so i can spray WD40 on it to try and fix it. but not sure where to spray it on.

any help would be great.

dont want to pass it on to mum with that squeak as i am getting my new fiests at weekend.

I had this on my mk6 fiesta, got them to sort it at service, they did and it came back, ended up putting up with it as it wasnt all the time.

P.S My mk7 clutch does the same already.

Its a common problem with the mk6. All the dealer can do is spray wd40 or somthing similar on it as there is not a modified spring. Not that Im aware of anyway.

There's another more serious problem with the mk6 clutch pedals as well.

The rod the pedal pushes/pulls to disengage/engage the clutch slips off. Its an easy fix though. Just a clip that goes in the end of it. If you take it to the local dealers they should fix it for you under warranty.
