KatieLouise
Hello all :) So I bought my new car 20th of Feb, felt great to buy a decent car :) I bought the Ford fiesta zetec eco, as I wanted something that was fuel efficient as I travel a lot but wanted something still abit smart, but didn't have enough for the ZS so I have started modifying it slightly and I am now at a stage of what can I do next.... I started off with adding wind dereflectors, followed by new 17" rims and then as off tomorrow will have black roof and wings! I have ordered gel overlays in black and white but I am now thinking possibly black and red and paint my calipers red, what do you think? I dont want to add to much red but belive maybe black and white is going to be abit bland. Thoughts&opinions would be great cheers guys :) *Car as it stands atm & potentially what will look like tomorrow (edited)

anya00tan
Hi guys speaking of grills. why not grab yourself a can of matte black plastidip and spray your current grill(chrome and all).. Would that work?

Would that work? I personally think the honeycomb looks a lot nicer. That's why I changed mine, stock my Focus grill was gloss black slats. Gaz RS
I could :) I'm going to do my calipers over next few days but undecided whether to go orange or red and get gel overals to match... Opinions? Thanks :) Rule of thumb is not to have more than 3 colours, white, black and the tail lights being red I would go red callipers, ;)
KatieLouise
Sweet! Hot ride! My alloys are very similar ;) Red it is then :)
MattDRX
Just make sure the calipers are mint clean before you paint them and use lacquer and hardener afterwards, it'll look much better and not like some most chavvys you see out there who rattle canned it with drip marks all over the arms and wish bones. Will also be easier to clean. Actual brake cleaner is the best stuff too can be bought it halfrauds just don't smoke around the stuff. Gaz RS
Katie, I used Halfords brake calliper paint. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_categoryId_165495_productId_175090_langId_-1?cm_mmc=Google+PLA-_-Paints+&+Body+Repairs-_-Specialist+&+Decorative+Paints-_-363374&istCompanyId=b8708c57-7a02-4cf6-b2c0-dc36b54a327e&istItemId=lwqpwm&istBid=tztr&_$$ja=cgid:8475776884|tsid:35522|cid:166296844|lid:47422310288|nw:g|crid:33910835764|rnd:5008237309277703385|dvc:c|adp:1o2|bku:1&gclid=CJK-s_ulob0CFSn4wgod0R0AMA Try to remove any brake dust etc I used a wire brush, as mentioned above give them a clean with brake cleaner then using a small paintbrush give the callipers three light coats. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_252419_langId_-1_categoryId_255218 The Halfords paint does not require anything else and there's more than enough in one tin. You may find a few artists brushes quite useful for the difficult bits. The Fiestas starting to look B)
