New Fiesta - which petrol engine?

The trip computer reported 50MPG on a 70MPH Cruise Control trip down the M3 the other day. Round town it's more like 43.

Thats really good! the official figures say 35.7 - 47.9 - 60.1 MPG range. Pretty good chance that when the engine has done a good few thousand miles more you will actually see the 60.1 on the motorway, add to that the trip comp probably under calculates the MPG. Good news as I am also getting the 1.6 :)

I bought the 1.25 (82)and i didnt test drive any of the other models,so i dont feel like im missing out on anything. Before i got this i had a astra 1.4 97 plate, and the fiesta is a lot quicker than that, when i come to trade it in though will probably jump straight into a 1.6,but until then im happy with what ive got :D

Still idiotically indecisive about the actual fiesta model, but what about engine size? anyone like to comment on how they've found the various petrol engines?

So what did you decide on then JonLa
