AJRTDDI
Is it normal process to cut tho whole panel out and replace it. or just overlap the panel and use seam sealer to not allow water.Cause if i cut the whole panel out. i can image it will be hard to seam weld it to a water tight level. glodenspanner
Did yours leak in water ? Does it perish under the tray because my tray looks solid ..water chasing is awfull man !!
AJRTDDI
If top of tray looks good u maybe lucky. Mine was abit iffy so I cut it out reguardless. I do regret it because it's caused me a lot of work. Under fusebox is also place to look for bad rust.

AJRTDDI
Smooth Bodyfiller and primer will make most welding jobs waterproof so be fine
