Turner430
Hello, Recently replaced my coil springs and shock absorbers and there was a rattling, think I put the tops on the wrong way, easily done but then again easily fixed However now I have gone to re do these I noticed grease everywhere on the underside of the left arch. The is a split on the inner CV boot on the front left. My question is this going to be just the boot or the whole CV joint itself? I have noticed some clunking when I turned the wheel at low speeds but I thought this was just the new springs. I have checked the other CV boots, there is a small tear in the Right outer when the metal clip goes which I am quite happy to replace but I'm not sure I have the mechanical know how to do a full CV joint. Any members in the Surrey/Hampshire are had a go at this?
