.Martin
Cheers guys. I don't talk to him anymore. Nothing to do with the crash though, he never meant for that to happen. He took the Humph that he never got invited to my full wedding and at the stag was apparently saying if it wasn't for the crash money there'd be no wedding. 2 of my mates told me about this after he said he couldn't make it so I just gave up on him after that. He had a scratch about 4" on his leg and a lot of bruising. They accepted the first offer as if we had gone and gotten less the union would have to pay the insurance bill. If I wanted to continue myself I would have had to start the claim again which would involve the same 6 trips per year to Edinburgh per year to see they're 3 specialist's followed by my 3 specialist's and being followed by private investigators. That one really killed me! Seeing a DVD of me sitting in my garden whilst my daughter was playing made me so angry! I'd also have to start with a brand new solicitor and at the time I was suffering major depression and just gave up. Cheers for the good wishes folks
jeebowhite
yeah there is a lot of difficulty involved in the backlash of an accident. even a small case of whiplash isnt just "an ache or two" as I have heard it described before. People dont realise the stress it causes, and the fact that depression is quite often attributed to the results of being stuck around and the suffering!
mixmasterlooney
Martin thankfully you are alive to see your child today that is one hell of a accident. Life is incredibly fragile I think we all forget that sometimes. As for me I have never had a crash although lots of near miss in my young days. Had two bumps first I took my eyes off the road looking at a rather attactive female whilst pulling up being a mondeo, bumped the back and felt like a complete idiot, thought I got away only to see this huge bloke walk upto me asking what the *** did I do to his car lol he was in a rush, I apologise and we moved on. Second was at night reversing out, I moved off so quick the parking sensors wasn't even on yet and bumped the car behind. Again the owner caught me, one apology and no damage later that was my last.
Ianb
Bloomin heck martin. That's an awful crash. Silver lining is definitely being alive to marry your partner and seeing the baby.
