FocusMan06
Hi all, Focus Zetec Climate 2006 the speed of the air from my air vents on 1 and 2 is non-existant and speed only comes on at level 3, level 4 is faster. What can be done to bring back the speed to level 1 and 2? Regards all
Stoney871
I think a new pollen filter is in order. A pig of a job but sounds necessary to me.

Havnt got much room to get your hands in. Or could be a faulty panel (where you manually operate it) or the cable behind that, ive known them to be disconnected or snap before Sent from my GT-I9195 using Ford OC mobile app
FocusMan06
hmmm.... the loose wire may be the case? More i think about it, i would notice a sudden increase of air flow speed and noise which i never found the reason but from memory seemed to happen when car went over a bump int the road. i think since the rheostat is on order i go with that and see what happens. AdeMk1
It will be the heater motor Resistor (Rheostat). Very easy to do yourself. EDIT: Here you go http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1325972-Heater-Motor-Blower-Resistor-For-Ford-Fiesta-Focus-Mondeo-S-Max-Galaxy-/171454240560?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AFord|Model%3AFocus|Cars+Year%3A2006&hash=item27eb781730 And here's where to find it: Remove the glove box, disconnect the multi plug, remove 2 screws, replace the resistor & reassemble in reverse order. Hope this helps.
