Things I Don't Like

It is actually something else beginning with "f", but the swear filters might have an issue with it

That word has come to mind a few times. and thanks I'll leave it in the airing cupboard today too, it was in there overnight as well.

Dry rice is good for mild water damage, but we're talking a bit of rain fell on it and it's misbehaving, ad opposed to it drank my bottle and now doesn't know it's own name...

Changed am inappropriate word... Watch the choice Chris :)

Needing lunch and not having any.......yet *ninja mode*

having lunch and looking at the misery of the weather you have to walk through to go get it :p

Get a galaxy tab s. It's what I bought after my I pad and it's amazing, not much different to the newer tab s2, so better value for money too

Having owned a Galaxy Tab S 10.5 I can vouch for that. Great tablets.

I was looking at the new tab s 2 and after reading into it the battery life is terrible at 6 hours ish for the bigger one on video I'm really tempted to just get an ipad air 2 mainly for the solid battery life.

Watch the words Nathan!

My Air 2 was good but I didn't feel it was worth the price I paid. The battery was good, but iOS is simply dated compared to the latest offerings.

So I guess;

iPad - looks nice aesthetically and better battery

Samsung - better screen, OS and is cheaper to buy, plus expandable storage.

If the iPad is deemed a write off I will probably get the Samsung, I for one am fed up with Apple now.

Trying on a suit for the wedding then checking the price tag..... *faint emoji inserted here*.... might need to start some serious crowd funding or something!

Try find a baron John nearby or more specifically one of their outlets. I got a 350 quid suit for 75!

It was a particular style/pattern and a 3 piece... But Yeh... It was more than £350...indeed more than £450... :(

You and me for two ;)

I had a iPhone 4s, 5s and a ipad air before I became fed up of the brand, it's always the same stuff wrapped up in a different jacket!

I also became peeved with how limited the app store was and is.

I jumped ship about a month or so ago. Bought the Samsung Galaxy tab s 10.5 and the brand new Samsung Galaxy s6 edge plus and I haven't looked back. In fact when the news of the iPhone 6s was released I couldn't help commenting but my phone does all of that already and more, so much for innovation from apple

I've never had an iPhone, never really wanted one either. School has always been full of Apple products, everywhere you look there will be an iPhone, mainly a 6 and mainly with a smashed screen! I loved my first iPad in 2012 but the second last year was not a big upgrade from the first, just faster and lighter, the OS was basically the same.

My mum has an iPhone 5 (I call it iFail  ) and after just two years it's battery is rubbish and it's quite slow, so much for Apple products lasting longer! She fancies a Samsung next, possibly a Note 4 as the big screen and stylus appeals.

I got my S6 on launch day and it's brilliant, lots of my friends think it's better than their iPhones too, although I get the usual, "wow that's great, shame it's not an iPhone."

I'll probably be getting a Tab S too, I nearly got one last year but went for the iPad! Silly me.

I have recently decommissioned my iPhone 4s and put it on iPod duties, as the battery is getting tired now. It is my mum's old one, it ran for two years + for her and a year and a half for me, and holds a charge for a while now it isn't a phone anymore. It is completely mint without even a scratch.

Gone back to my Lumia 520, and will be most likely upgrading to a Lumia 735 within the next month.

Good on you Chris for not buying into Apple. I have never owned an Apple/Macintosh device and I never will. Call me a fool, but I'm Microsoft only.

A good phone, the 520. That was the same model as my Lumia that "took a drink" (I cleaned the door pockets of the Volvo and later that day went out and put the phone in said door pocket, not realising there was a 1" puddle of water sitting at the bottom!). After realising it could not be ressurected I bought a cheap Lumia 610 to last me until December when I can upgrade, at which point I will go for the latest top of the line Lumia. I love the Lumias and the Windows Phone systems are great in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I do like the iPhone, but not the hefty price tag that comes with it.

When Windows 8 phones first came out they were not bad, but had stupid issues that needed correcting. For example, the volume control wasn't independent of ringing noise and media, and if one forgot to turn it down again the ring was deafening.

I love the android. Got a Sony Xperia z3... One thing I find with it is that unfortunately getting covers and things isn't so easy.. A lot of places only stock iPhone stuff. My old cover eventually departed this world and I had about 2 weeks with no cover, holding the phone was like holding a washing up liquid covered piece of melting ice... So small!

Android all the way for me!

I have a lumia 635 for a workphone, its not bad, but its not customisable enough, and I dont really like the interface. Apple, I wouldnt mind owning a device, but the day I fork out that much for an apple device, will be the day I open my wallet, burn the contents, drop trousers and invite the apple lot to check my prostate!

They look good products, but they arent worth that much. If I could pick one up dirt cheap I might try it one day, but Android is my friend, has been for many years, and I suspect will continue to be!

Seen way too many people's iphones and ipads with broken screens.

Flimsy and way overpriced.

I find the fact that you have to use itunes for everything very restrictive.

The lack of the ability to add extra storage is also dumb.

Samsung all the way.

Agreed! I had hundreds of songs from iTunes on my phone and ipad, but I'm now having to buy them all over again from amazon (luckily my daughter has an iPhone so I just stored them all on there when I reset my iPhone and ipad for flogging on

At least now also I 'own' the songs too, they're on my phone, USB stick and husband's laptop. Same price (except one that was way cheaper) as iTunes as well

Download and convert all the iTunes music to basic mp3,there are converters out there which might 'accidentally' forget to re encode the drm...

I'm using my mum's Tab 4 10.1 and for the price I paid (£175) it's pretty decent! The ipad wasn't massively better seeing it cost over twice as much.

Android for the win all day everyday.
