Things I Don't Like

Featured Replies

Not condoning robbery but if you type in something like youtube to mp3 on Google (exactly those words) there are converters to convert the sound off any video and turn it into an mp3 (hence the name)....

I've heard it's good for getting music...... But I'd never do that... ;)

Fire exercises. I appreciate the need for them, but sitting in a fire suit with a BA set on your back for almost 2 and a half hours is not pleasant.

what annoys me is CYCLISTS !!!!!

they casually dawdle along 2 or 3 abreast along the roads causing congestion for us legitimate motorists !

We have to pay for our use of the roads and get held up by these green tree hugging idiots !! if they want to use our roads make them pay towards the upkeep or got to a velodrome

Booking my car into the body shop at a cost of £410 to repair damage caused by the empty head who keyed it

Sorry to hear that fella..

Just jealous scum who can't stand seeing someone else owning a nice motor...little B?!#@ probably had a £250 wreck took off him at the roadside.....that damage he caused will be twice the cost of any car this little !Removed! ever buys...

Yeah I know probably a chavvy c****a owner lol

the wife spending money on shoes handbags scarfs :D

People with smelly breath....

Don't get me wrong, everyone gets morning breath, everyone gets that "a gorilla took a **** in my mouth" breath after drinking, everyone gets coffee breath, if you don't eat all day then you can get bad breath there... but when your breath reeks like you have never heard of a toothbrush, the only thing stopping me pushing you away by your face is the fact that I fear I'll get some hideous disease on my hand!

I mean for crying out loud, you could brush your teeth with a well used public bog brush and your breath wouldn't honk as bad!

And really the reason it drives me mad is that it's not like most people don't spend a few minutes in the bathroom every morning anyway...you don't even have to go out of your way....so pick up a sodding brush and use it!

YEUCK!

I can't stand that either. I drink coffee, smoke and eat snacks so my breath probably doesn't smell great but at least I brush twice, sometimes three times a day and use mints. Some people have no shame.

Oh God don't get me started on that. And the worst thing is the law is on THEIR side when they don't even pay road tax, fuel tax or any God damn tax whatsoever. Us motorists pay THOUSANDS of pounds every year but yet we get screwed should anything happen to precious cyclists.

Cyclists wouldn't bother me so much if they weren't all willing to die just to make a point.... even if they're actually wrong...

Ouch, that's almost expensive enough to have it done through insurance, but your premium could go up so maybe not a good idea in the long run.

I hate jealous idiots who key cars. Still haven't sorted mine out, everytime I open my door I get angry then have to try forget about it, but since I don't have the money for a respray I can't do anything to really fix it...

I feel for you James and others. It's horrible to have something inflicted on your property by a horrible act and be unable to fix it!

With my excess and a likely increase in premium as a result of a claim I decided it wasn't worth claiming

though you do wish you could punch them in the face, and grab them by the hair and polish the scratch out with their eyeballs?

... or is that just me?

I don't like blonde woman driving silver hyundai i20's who think the outside lane is there dedicated lane... She travelled down 4 separate dual carriageways and after each roundabout went to the right lane and sat there... Then middle aged woman who think the speed limit is a number you should half and travel at...

Deciding after a few years that I should start watching CSI again only to find it is airing the LAST EVER episode next Tuesday. Great!!

My car is also keyed - about 8 cm long, very obvious scratch on the front passenger door, near the handle. I want to key the person that did it, with some thing far sharper than a key. :censored:

Haven't got the spare cash lying around to fix it either unfortunately - all car money will be going for a new battery, new brake fluid, major service, and possibly new brake pads soon.

If you can feel the scratch it will need a respray but if not it might polish out. Go ask at a body shop and find out you never know. Cost may also be cheaper if you have a solid colour rather than the two coat metallic like mine.

I decided that it had to be done as every time I see it I just get all angry and unnecessary again. Also wanted to get it done before they start spreading salt over the roads, don't want that getting under the paint making it even worse

Yeah mines metallic I was quoted 200 quid which I don't have unfortunately, I built the layers with primer then applied some paint and just polished it, taking some layers of paint off, its better and slightly less obvious but it's still not where I want it.

It's a nightmare! I know exactly the feeling with cash. I'm one of those people that always likes to have a bit of a buffer with money, but whenever the buffer gets just enough to start being a bit indulgent or fix something, something happens, or its a birthday/Christmas/etc. Rear speakers have not worked properly for the last 8-10 months, but it's just time and money to replace them. Granted speakers are not THAT expensive, but it's all relative :(

Hahaha..I know that thing too..you get a little non emergency money ie buffer, then you start thinking maybe something nice for the car..maybe a set of bigger.. newer.. alloys,or a HiFi upgrade..

And Bammm..

Something needs money throwing at it and right away, and it feels like you've just been mugged...always the mucking same..like something else knows about your little buffer, sooooo anoying

Yup. For me I'm managing debt at the moment, so I have a 7 year plan in place so for me I have live on a budget. All I do is use what's left of my fuel budget at the end of the month to buy small cheap things as part of my projects so at the moment, that's why my dash droid project is taking so long to complete. As of Christmas though, when our baby is born, I won't be able to do any more work to the car and it will have to be essentials only for a while.

Kids...great.. but fairly expensive to rear to adulthood!!

I became a dad aged 21 and still remember...painfully giving up my Yamaha rd 250 for a sensible veichle with a wheel at each corner..wich makes them safer...
