Thanks but it's probably best that there's a record of my stupidity somewhere - that way people can take my advice on here with a pinch of salt 🙂

I don't like doing too much today...  I'll suffer for it tomorrow especially when I'm up at 6AM!

I don't like needing fuel and not being able to find any double points or money off vouchers...

They're all within 1p different as well (BP, Shell, Esso) so no idea how to chose!

In other news, I did like passing my old A3 on the road today!

I don't like it when people drive at night with only one working headlight. Well done - you can't see where you're going and now I can't either because your other light is twice as bright as it should be :rolleyes1:

I refuse to believe, given how many people do this, that all those bulbs have only just blown on that journey.

Most people don't even bother checking their lights work, their tyre pressures and condition, oil, coolant and washer fluid levels. They just get in the car and drive away.
Adding to that, the amount of people who drive around with their front fog lights on is, well, a lot. People don't even seem to bother learning how to operate switches or buttons in their cars these days.

It annoys me to see drivers with no lights on at all.
They either think they have automatic lights when they don't or mistake the light from their DRL's for their headlights then merrily drive around in total ignorance wondering why other drivers keep flashing their lights at them.

In fairness, some of the blame has to go to the manufacturers for this, VW in particular made a huge flaw with their lighting system, annoying as most things are well thought out and designed for the driver on them.

The Golf has auto lights, but no tell tale on the dash.  The tell tale is on the headlight switch by your knee, it's completely unnoticeable (how often do you look down there?) but even then it's confusing as it's orange for 'on' rather than green!  It also doesn't have rain lights like the Mk3 Focus does, and the Peugeots had for years before that.  So in cloudy rain or fog the lights don't always come on, but the driver can't tell whether they're on or not.  On the rare occasion I do turn mine on for inclement weather/dusk I always forget to turn them off again.  They go off with the ignition so there's no warning buzzer when you open the door, but it means I drive around for the next week looking like an idiot with all the lights on in bright sunshine...  But more importantly obscuring the brake lights as well...

The old Vectra had an equally stupid system, where it used the '))((' sign for BOTH sidelights and headlights...so again you never knew which were on from a glance!  Although the indicators were also stupid on that car, the stalk didn't have set positions, it was like a joystick that always returned to the centre...you could never cancel the indicator without switching the other one on! 🤦‍♂️

My sister's corsa is similar. When you start it the surposed DRLs come on which I think are just the sidelights. When I moved her car yesterday its easy to know when you switch the main lights on but that's when it's dark and you can see the main lights illuminate the road 😅. It has that indicator system also however the way to cancel it is by pushing the stork the opposite way. Really happy my car has the one touch function where it indicates three times if I nudge the stork slightly.

I don't like this weather. Hope its not like this tomorrow on my first day of my course. I'm mainly worried about getting up in the morning and knowing how to get there and the building I have to be at all before 9:30

Ah, I didn't realise they were still using that system lol!  The problem I found is that pushing the stalk the opposite way triggered the other indicator instead of just cancelling the first one!  I just gave up indicating around town and particularly mini roundabouts as it was a nightmare for anyone following lol.  It was alright though, I just looked like every other taxi driver with a Vectra C at the time that didn't indicate either!  Interestingly it was bought by a taxi driver and used as a Taxi for a while...I've just checked and it's still on the road now!

I was looking at the MOT history of my Peugeot. It sadly failed this year then passed 😂. Had around 110k miles when I sold it and now has 123k

I don't like putting the AX in for the charging/draining problem to be told that it does need a new alternator, but also the current one is covered in oil (which probably hastened its demise) due to a leak which turns out to be from the crankshaft seal, and on investigating that the timing belt is also on its last legs (so much for being changed according to the previous owner).  In addition to all that I got him to check the rear suspension as one side looked like it was sagging and the axle is needing refurbished or replaced!!

Needless to say as much as I love the car it is past the point of being economically viable to repair, as the cost thereof would be more than the value of the car, then it has the MOT in November and they've said the brakes will probably need work for that also...

I don’t like having  my flying lesson rained off today, was hoping to do it before I go back to uni on Saturday.

I don't generally like phishing emails but this one did make me laugh!  Spammer definitely chose the wrong person!  If I ever pick up malware it'll be through a car forum rather than an adult site!

Hello!

As you may have noticed, I sent you an email from your account.
This means that I have full access to your device.

I've been watching you for a few months now.
The fact is that you were infected with malware through an adult site that you visited.

If you are not familiar with this, I will explain.
Trojan Virus gives me full access and control over a computer or other device.
This means that I can see everything on your screen, turn on the camera and microphone, but you do not know about it.

I also have access to all your contacts and all your correspondence.

Why your antivirus did not detect malware?
Answer: My malware uses the driver, I update its signatures every 4 hours so that your antivirus is silent.

I made a video showing how you satisfy yourself in the left half of the screen, and in the right half you see the video that you watched.
With one click of the mouse, I can send this video to all your emails and contacts on social networks.
I can also post access to all your e-mail correspondence and messengers that you use.

If you want to prevent this,
transfer the amount of $742 to my bitcoin address (if you do not know how to do this, write to Google: "Buy Bitcoin").

My bitcoin address (BTC Wallet) is: 1N6dubqFmnyQ2qDWvi32ppVbc3kKMTYcGW

After receiving the payment, I will delete the video and you will never hear me again.
I give you 50 hours (more than 2 days) to pay.
I have a notice reading this letter, and the timer will work when you see this letter.

Filing a complaint somewhere does not make sense because this email cannot be tracked like my bitcoin address.
I do not make any mistakes.

If I find that you have shared this message with someone else, the video will be immediately distributed.

Best regards!

I like the cheery Best Regards! at the end. I’d just reply to all that spiel with K and see what he does.

Havent been on in a bit and wont be for a while, have to keep this brief but its somthing different and somthing Im really finding difficult

I really dont like having had to hand write four A4 pages of a report on a history of events which have led to a line being over stepped regarding a relative and our created family.

Then paying for a family law solicitor to hear us out on the particular situation and find the most legal way forward on these matters as I figured either way It would end up in a solicitor's because i really dont or didnt want to have to confront the accused as i fear i may lose self control based on evidence alone; only to be told by my solicitor;

to confront the person directly to discuss things with the person directly myself making them aware of there actions alerting them of potential consequences if they continued make it clear again that we do not wish to deal with or receive anything from that individual moving forward; then go back to the solicitor if my wishes towards the accused are not taken on board by the accused themselves 🤮

I'm thinking the best way forward is for us to write down what we want to say to the accused keeping it factual and mild as possible; then make appointment with them to read it to them then document response if any; followed by taking it from there;

This way I dont have to look at them only the page of content which I've written myself and if not taken on board; I document response from accused and proceed to legal action

What a wonderful world

Just to be left alone would be fantastic I work hard and look after my family it's what I live for not to deal with anything like this have my own front door.

Had to voice this guys not sure if it can be responded to really,

Just the mention of bitcoin triggered me as I asked yesterday whether it had collapsed because we were presented with Mastercards which had been created for our daughters without our knowledge or consent by an individual whom is not a legal guardian lives over 90 miles away and is the only person whom can lodge funds on to these cards aswell as monitor card activity,

Bogus cards why is bitcoin still existing?

I've been in strong contact with the card company to inform I'm the real slim shady (the parent) not the creator of these cards there nobody,

Now I have to face the creator this weekend along with my wife to see if they fully understand correctly what they have done? Without tearing them apart

Not naming anyone or anything here atall keeping everything general and all views are my own opinion unless proven factual.

It's a spoofed email address so you can't reply.  10 people have been daft enough to pay him! 🤦‍♂️

So now I have this vision of someone "satisfying themselves" while watching a video of a clutch overhaul!😀

Oh yes I've had that one before!!  I bet a lot of people fall for it given people's "browsing habits" these days, but not me thankfully.  Hypothetically if I did visit such sites I would do so using a VPN!!

Further to the last post I don't like putting the AX up for sale today...

There should be a "do like" by tomorrow evening though, but not a Ford unfortunately!

Why did you put it on sale. Probably might be worth a bit when it becomes a future classic.

I don't like hearing what happened to my grandad. Heard he was at an ATM trying to take money out. This guy and girl came up to him as he was struggling with it. I think the girl told him to put his year of birth in which he did and nothing happened as he had struggled to remove the card. Forgot what I heard happened next but when he went to ask the shop owner he said the card is not there so that stupid couple must have taken it 😤

He quickly went to the bank to change his pin number and went to the criminal investigation department. Sadly they took £1000 out his account but thankfully I think the bank can help as it was reported I think before it was taken out. It's just sad that we have scum on this planet.
