g4ry.kb Posted March 29, 2015 Share Posted March 29, 2015 hi, a warning light resembling a red cog with a an exclamation mark in the middle, which I believe is the powertrain warning light, has come on, started flashing the car lost power then the engine management light also came on. I disconnected the battery for over an hour and the red cog warning light has now gone out & the car seems to be running fine although the engine management light is still on [ not flashing ] The only reference I can find to this powertrain warning light seems to refer to diesel engines where mine is petrol, any help would be really appreciated, thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
