Guest
Morning all, I've just noticed that when driving at 70 on normal ish roads (mainly the a1) my rear view mirror vibrates quite abit, most of the time making it a struggle to see detail of anything behind you... Anyone else getting this in the face lift model? Cheers
alexp999
The mirror in my mk3 only vibrated when I had a bassy song on, lol. Don't remember it being related to speed. The design hasn't changed from pre-facelift...

The design hasn't changed from pre-facelift... That's what I originally thought but it is definitely happening when driving to no music... It's not the normal vibration from a song as it's a solid shake like a bass test... Very strange
chrisroberson99
Doesn't sound right....have you wobbled it to see if it's loose?

Yeah it's not a massive issue but just wondered if it was a one off fault... I don't remember this in the 2014 focus I had for a few weeks... Doesn't sound right....have you wobbled it to see if it's loose? No buddy checked and no real play in the movement...
Incontro
Maybe a wheel alignment issue? Is it just the mirror that vibrates, or does the car vibrate noticeably too?

I've not noticed any vibration to the degree of the mirror wobble... I'll pay more attention incase it's at specific times or locations...
