Nearside rear vehicle structure has excessive corrosion.seriously affecting its strength within 30cm of body mounting. Nearside rear upper (shocker mount) Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excesively corroded. Offside front brake juddering severely.. Advisories Nearside front anti-roll bar has slight play in bush. Offside front anti-roll bar has slight play in bush. Front brakes only just met the front brake imbalance requirements. It would appear that the braking system requires adjustment or repair.. Now I paid 775 for the van 5 months ago. The garage has quoted me 690 to repair the van 200 for the steering rack 70 for suspension bush 300 for the welding 120 for the brake Now obviosly i would not be getting the work done here my brother is a mechanic and hopefully he could do most of the work . I have located a steering rack for £35 Suspension bush £5 Brake discs and pads £33 Anti roll bar bush's £10 Now all that leaves is the welding how much that would cost ? Would it be worth mending it all as this is my first vehicle i have no clue what so ever ..
Purdy fpv
That is a long list of advisories. However most of that £600 will be for labour costs. So if your brother can do the work that will save you some pennies. Did the garage that MOTed it do welding? Get them or another garage to give you a cost for the welding work. Again the price will mainly be determined by the number of man hours needed.
