Hi,

6.5" components are the correct size for both front & rear fitment in your model of focus, you will also need to purchase some model specific "aftermarket speaker adaptors" there sold in pairs; different pair for front and rear doors both take a 6.5" speaker size and the M6x20 bolts with washers and lock nuts were purchased seperatly from local DIY store.

The size of the tweeters won't be any issue as they fit inside the existing Ford grill on the front doors with the use of a dremil style rotary tool to bore out a little plastic inside the grill; I've fitted 25.4mm JL Audio tweeters in mine without a problem.

the rear door cards have a marking embossed on the inside; showing the area to drill from inside when fitting tweeters because models fitted with the  ✌premium✌factory audio models had rear tweeters fitted as standard

my build thread displays images of the process if you take the time to find the correct page for speaker upgrade you will see the images,

I've linked all parts suppliers in the build and used some 3M Velcro pads to mount the crossovers on the doors, easiest location unless you run a second audio feed from the main chassis in to the doors which can be alot of trouble to get through. However if you do decide to put an extra audio feed in to the doors and mount the crossovers under the seats; my guide here will show how to get that extra cable in there Guide to fitting Ford puddle lights Focus 05-12 Click Here

For decent comps like them, you'll be better off with an MDF Baffle.

Very true regarding MDF panels but an alternative is to wrap sound deadening material around the plastic speaker adapter so the sound deadening melds onto the speaker chassis and to the door panel. Much easier to do this than measure and cut and shape MDF and it's cheaper too and just as good if not better than MDF adapter.

Noise, with that Rocket in Space no one would hear you scream.

MDF spacers would be an alternitive option to the plastic version,

It's worth taking note; The front doors would need some atleast 25mm thick mdf to space the speaker out far enough from the inner panel ensuring theres sufficent depth within the door cavity for the cone of the speaker to recess in without touching the outer door panel or obstructing the window glass when it's in the fully open position.

The rear door spacers wouldn't need to be quite as thick as the front door ones because the door cavity in the rear quarter is deeper at that particular mounting location.

I've used some 6.5" DEi Boom Mat speaker cup baffles in all four doors to prevent resonance through the panels and keep the bass in the car, they work very well I get deep bass without any resonance through panels👌

There available in various diameters to match all speaker sizes and have micro particles of volcanic ash within there mixture of construction which is super light weight and reflects the noise quite well, these baffles also protect the Speakers from any moisture within the door cavitys; should the window seals fail at some point the Speakers won't get hurt.

The Boom mats look like a great idea, I've noticed a little vibration on the front doors especially. I've only got cheap Pioneers run off the HU, so these could help alot. Do you have a preferred supplier?

They prevent vibration transfer from Speakers to doors aswell as other benefits, ive no preferred supplier on these mate, I just went on to eBay UK and purchased from the cheapest supplier at the time.
