Digital Tyre Inflator

Hi guys I bought a digital tyre inflator from Halfords a few days ago for my 2008 1.6 tdci, but when I plug it in it does not work. Now I have never used the connection before so maybe it does not work.

The new Inflator is working well as I tried it on my mates Passat 2010. So Im hoping someone on here can point me in the right direction to sorting the problem

i assume it is cigarette lighter socket type. have you checked the fuse (usually in main fuse box)

Ignition on or off?
Focus mk2/2.5 have non permanent sockets.

fuse 39 under glove box, 10 amp,mine went aswell a while ago

Just came on to say thanks to you guys and it was the fuse 20 amp, fuse 109 under glove box In my 2008 focus 1.6 TDCI
