Hi, so got a grand Tourneo Connect, 16 plate,  no spare wheel , just the gunk! Is easy to fit a spare space saver ? Looks like it will go underneath! Or is it an expensive job at a garage ?

thanks

If you have the screw as shown to lower the cable down (if there is a cable) then yes you can add a spare. The screw head is hidden under a grommet as soon as you open the rear doors.

Just thought I would add that back in 2014 I was quoted €500 for parts and €1000 labour to do this. I declined but am still looking for a solution. Ideally I want a crash damaged tourneo that I can get all the parts off.

Someone else on the forum said they were going to try it themselves.  See https://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/93353-tourneo-connect-spare-wheel-carrier/
