john_k
wondered if anyones had this problem before i came out this morning started my car which is a fiesta 53 plate (mark 6 i think ) and went to turn the heater on, theres 4 settings to my heater and only the 4th will work, which works fine but its a bit much after a while ive heard it could be the resistor pack, can anyone point me in the right direction to where this is, and is there a way to test it before renewing it
Jonny87
Had exactly the same thing thing on my Mk4. Never got it fixed, but I think I was told the resistor needed replacing. It was temperamental and would occasionally work on the other settings. Car wasn't worth the expense of fixing it but your car is much newer so go for it. Not a clue how much the part costs but maybe it's an easy DIY job
