Focus tdci non starter

Hi , help please ,my focus tdci cut out on way to work . Alternator had failed had new one fitted , it now won't start have had ecu checked no problems there . Anyone got any advice would be much appreciated

Does it even try to start? Could just be as simple as a dead battery if the alternator hasn't been charging it.

Unless you can give better symptoms it's going to be hard to diagnose. There's loads of reasons why a car would just die on you. Could say fuel filter clogged, an injector not working properly, bad starter motor. The list goes on.

Yeah its going to be a whole lot easier to help you if you can talk us through exactly what happens when you try and turn her over.  What sort of noises you get at each stage of turning the key, how it sounds when you are cranking the engine etc.
