Hi all
I have just purchased an 07 smax 2.0tdci titanium and it has just started making a constant whining noise, the tone of the noise seems to change when you turn the steering wheel but does not go away. can anyone help with this?

Sounds like PAS pump bearings.

I thought it may be the pas pump. I have heard these are a electric pump on the 2.0tdci engine not a belt driven one can anyone clarify this for me please
