ascowie
Yesterday my clutch failed, I had to call out Greenflag and the guy said the bolt on the clutch rod had fallen off, he fixed it, My question is how much would a new bolt cost, seems a silly question, but i know nothing about cars
stef123
The usual fault with these is that the rod from the master cylinder slips off the rod on the pedal. This happens once it's worn a little as there is nothing holding it on. You can buy a washer from the likes of eBay which will solve your problem. As far as I know there are no bolts. Something like this http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/181370976345?nav=SEARCH I have successfully used a good cable tie and also a small jubilee clip on another car without any issues.
