Barry T
Hi all, Just purchased a Ford Focus Mk3 in July 2014 and have a problem the drivers seat is very uncomfortable I pointed this out to the salesman on a test drive before I purchased it, He said it was because I had not adjusted the seat properly, But I now find out on journeys of over 1 hour I am in a lot of discomfort, I never had this problem on my old Focus Estate that was almost 15 years old. Has anyone else had a similar problem, the passenger seat appears to be o.k. Regards, Barry T
peterbrooks
I might be stating the obvious but have u checked the lumbar adjuster on the side nearest centre console? Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
jeebowhite
agreed, its worth checking the lumbar support and the angle of the chair.
Barry T
Hi Thanks for your comments, I have tried the seat in all positions, come to the conclusion that the seat has moulded its self into the shape of the previous owner. Bought a wedge shaped cushion it is now more comfortable. This is the first car I have owned with a drivers seat problem, my old focus (almost 15 years old), the seats were as good as the day I bought it.
