salsheikh Posted September 11, 2015 Share Posted September 11, 2015 looks like its fallen off before and the backing plate on the glass has a lot of scratch marks. it does look a tricky job to put it back on and i would suggest trying to take the back plate off and attaching it onto the mirror part and then using double sided sticky foam to attach back to the glass. JW1982 Posted September 11, 2015 Share Posted September 11, 2015 The retaining tabs of the mirror mount are broken. These retaining tabs hold the mirror in place. The mirror mount on the windscreen needs to be replaced. The mirror mount of the autodimming mirror has (Finis) part number 4788331. The mirror mount is glued to the windscreen with a special polyurethane adhesive. This is basically the same adhesive which is used to install windscreens.
