I have a 2002 Focus Tdci.The reversing light is flickering on & off as I drive forwards & sometimes stays on for a long period of time.Yesterday I changed the reversing light switch,but this has not solved the problem. mjt Posted July 12, 2008 Share Posted July 12, 2008 Try leaving the reversing light switch disconnected. If this cures the problem then the cause is likely to be in the gearbox.
