1.4 mk 6.5 had a sore bump front end .bumper radiator and fraim lights and bits and Bob's. Got doner car and striped and swapped parts over  .now found fuel cut of switch  car started but went full rev's then popping banging flame out of "assuming cracks  on inlet pipes .now is this my problem  of somthing more sinìster cheers chaps 😚

    I repaired a front end impact on one of these about 6 months ago, exactly the same issue, the inlet manifold got cracked, was fine after replacement.  Not saying that's your only issue but definitely worth checking it!
